volcano videos
boating up to the entry! look at the steam coming up off the water, 105F
we were so close to the lava I got nervous. If there was one big explosion, or one small wave, or if the bench collapsed, we would go right into the danger zone. It was a little too close for my taste.

this is the true color of the water, all the other pictures look hazy
but it was this blue and this clear. I'm glad I braved the snorkel!

Hawaii part 3: Oahu
Oahu!
No wind blowing, it was hot hot hot!

Hawaii part 2: Maui
We were only on maui for less than 24 hours, long enough to eat 2 pineapples, great Korean barbecue, go to the beach for a morning swim and mark to play a round of golf with Jae.

Paddle boarding... ever heard of it? really hard from the looks of it!!

south so all the windsurfers were on the south side.
Beautiful red flowered trees that were all over the island!
