Nightmares

I just woke up from a nightmare that left me feeling unsafe, threatened and watched.

Even though I just got up from it, I can only remember parts. Hopefully by the end of the day all of it will be gone.

I had a friend who had a stalker and somehow everytime she got online, he could connect to her computer and watch what she was doing, who she talked to, everything. She started getting messages from him, creepy messages. She got some company to watch her lines to alert her to when he was connecting so she could disconnect asap.

She got a call at 4 in the morning to tell him that he was connected to her so she got off and called me.

He attached to me.

Then he could see my every move.

The creepy part is Ross was still alive and was staying outside that night (i think there was a pin in the pine straw area between the house and the barn.) I heard him barking and barking and barking like he always did when someone was at the house. And then he stopped. There was no more noise.

My alarm went off.

I have goose bumps, sitting in my room with the blinds and curtains pulled tight I feel like he is outside my window, or even watching me type this.

I haven't had a nightmare like this in a long time. Hopefully it will be a long time before my next one.

So you typed that at 3:00 this morning. Maybe it was the little dogs that live next door that were barking and then they stopped.
You know it was a dream. Only a dream but are you doing anything that you consider dangerous? Or that I would consider dangerous? If you are, then you need to think about stopping doing it! No more late night trips to the grocery store..etc.
I just finished the cake. Now for the lemon pie. House is a disaster but we'll eat really well!

that was a bad dream! i always wonder what it is that causes us to have a nightmare. is it something we ate? is it something we flipped over on TV? something we read?

Ugh... that was creepy. I agree with mom. It must have been the neighbor dogs that you heard. Doesn't make you feel any better though, does it?

I find that I can usually link my weird dreams to one of two things: 1) being pregnant - those are the wackiest dreams you'll ever have or 2) something I have eaten. I always have weirdo dreams after I eat cabbage, which is why I don't do it often. Weirdo dreams... not just off the wall crazy dreams.

Hope this was the last bad dreams for a while!

Wow, that was really creepy, Kate. I, too, tend to have awful dreams from time to time and I don't know why. They are usually quite vivid, too.

I think, though, that it is pretty normal for a young woman (all women, maybe) to have concerns such as what manifested in your dream. Unfortunate, but true.

Listen to your mom; make sure you're always being SAFE and all will be fine.
